I can't set thumbnails for any of my YouTube Shorts and always receive this error. My account is fully approved and has access to all YouTube features. Everlasting Summer 20 Posted September 11, 2023 Unfortunately, it's not possible to do it at the moment. The only way to set a thumbnail for a short video on YouTube now is to upload it from a mobile app and choose a still frame as a thumbnail during the publishing process.
